Dominion Management manages over 850 homes in The Greater Baltimore Area. We are looking for a vibrant candidate with an entrepreneurial spirit to join our team as an Assistant Property Manager.

Applicants must be excellent communicators, highly organized, able to effectively prioritize and multi-task, and have superior customer service skills. Affordable housing experience is required. This position will report directly to our Property Manager.

Responsibilities :
  • Process applications and conduct background screenings
  • Investigate and help resolve complaints, disturbances, and violations  
  • Contribute to the achievement of team goals, leasing benchmarks, and resident retention
  • Keep our Property Manager informed of any information that could affect property operations
  • Ensure strict compliance with the Fair Housing Act
  • Prepare, monitor, and distribute reports on a variety of operational and financial data
  • Provide direction to the team in the absence of the Property Manager
  • Conduct weekly meetings with senior level management
  • Participates in and attends all required training sessions
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working in property management with Housing Choice Voucher Programs (Section 8)
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing compliance
  • Intermediate-advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Skilled in time management and able to prioritize tasks
  • Proficiency tracking both short and long-term projects through to completion
  • Ability to apply problem solving skills to resolve typical operational issues
  • Superior communication and relationship building skills
