Job Description

The Assistant Spa Manager plays a vital and influential role in overseeing the daily operations of the spa, ensuring the delivery of top-tier service and performance, aligned with Peninsula’s goal of becoming the global leader in the luxury spa industry.

 

 

Key Accountabilities:

 

  • Support the Spa Management  in upholding exceptional guest experiences, consistent with the Hotel and Spa's standards of care and service.
  • Assist in managing the Spa’s Profit & Loss statements, and assisting developing annual budgets, and preparing weekly forecasts.
  • Contribute to marketing and public relations initiatives aimed at increasing visibility, client engagement, and overall revenue.
  • While on shift oversee the daily treatment schedule to ensure adequate and proper balancing of schedules while also identifying potential sales opportunities.
  • Build strong client relationships by creating and managing comprehensive guest profiles.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure guest satisfaction is consistently achieved.
  • Partner with the Spa Reception and Attendant team to maintain and implement Peninsula's brand standards and improve the guest experience.

 

 

General Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Hospitality Management or Marketing a plus.
  • 2-3 years’ experience in luxury spa or hotel front-of-house management, with union experience preferred. Experince in a 5-star spa environment at a supervisory or assistant manager level is essential.
  • Proficient in spa management software and computer literacy.
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills, with a proven ability to manage teams effectively.
  • Experience in creating and executing spa marketing initiatives and promotions.
