Do you have a passion for financial management and helping organizations stay audit-ready?

We're looking for a motivated Audit Consultant to join our team! In this remote role, you'll play a vital role in supporting a Hawaiian native 8(a) firm with their Environmental & Disposal Liabilities (E&DL) audit readiness initiatives for the US Army.

What You'll Do:

Assist the client with all aspects of E&DL audit preparation.
Conduct quality control reviews of environmental cleanup cost estimates across various Army commands.
Apply your knowledge of financial management and audit principles to ensure accurate and compliant E&DL reporting.
Help identify and resolve audit findings related to E&DL.
Support with environmental data analysis and reporting.
Update procedures and contribute to the development of solutions for complex challenges.
What You'll Bring:

2+ years of experience in federal financial management, DoD audit readiness, or environmental cost estimation.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong attention to detail, data management, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and build strong relationships with clients.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite.
US Citizenship required.
Bonus Points:

Experience with DoD financial statement audits, internal controls, or environmental regulations.
Knowledge of Army financial management systems and procedures.
Relevant certifications (CPA, CGFM, CDFM, etc.).
