Hampton Inn Muskegon by Hilton is seeking a Friendly and Professional Front Desk Agent to join our 25-person strong team. We are located on 1401 E. Ellis Rd. Our ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. The position is crucial in creating memorable experiences for travelers and requires strong communication skills, attention to detail and a passion for being hospitable.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm demeanor.
• Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently and accurately.
• Handle guests inquire, requests and complaints in a timely manner, ensuring guests satisfaction.
• Process reservations and manage room assignments using hotel management property system.
• Clean work area as needed to maintain a tidy work environment
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guests experiences.
• Must be able to work first and second shift schedules

Qualifications

• Friendly attitude even when dealing with disgruntled employees and guests.
• Responsible and proven ability to maintain scheduling commitments, as well as be ON TIME.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Ability to problem solve quickly concerns customers may have
• Good communication skills with customers
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs if needed
• Flexible with schedule able to work first 1st shift (7a-3p) mid-shifts (12p-8p) and second shift (3p-11p)
