Siemens Digital Industries Software is a leading provider of solutions for the design, simulation, and manufacture of products across many different industries. Formula 1 cars, skyscrapers, ships, space exploration vehicles, and many of the objects we see in our daily lives are being conceived and manufactured using our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software.

This role is responsible for writing content intended for the digital brand channels managed by Siemens Digital Industries Software. As part of the Brand Channels team within Brand and Communications, this role will support channels ranging from our online newsroom to key website properties to our global brand social channels with written content creation and execution, in alignment and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. The person filling this role should be comfortable with crafting longer-form copy ranging from news releases and media alerts to shorter-form social media and web copy. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with experience working on digital content for a range of channels (including web and social).

(This is a remote role for candidates located in the Eastern or Central U.S. time zones)

Essential Functions:

• As part of the Brand Channels team and in coordination with other Brand & Communications teams, draft, edit and publish clear, engaging and compelling copy intended for publication on digital channels. Channels include online Newsroom, online press distributions, our major social accounts (LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Facebook, Threads and YouTube) and our web properties.
• Coordinate and collaborate with team experts on copy creation and execution strategies to achieve best results and meet deadlines.
• Use digital office and publishing/creation tools appropriately (Teams, Sprinklr, Contentful, Monday.com and others) to manage and execute requests and communicate
• Proactively address issues as they arise

Skills and Abilities Required:

• Experience creating engaging, concise and accurate English-language copy for company brand channels (web, social, news releases)
• Strong written and verbal skills, interpersonal and communication skills - English language fluency is a must.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well and respectfully with others in a diverse global environment
• Strong ability to research information and learn quickly
• Proactive with communications and recommendations
• Ability to problem solve effectively and efficiently, and to ask for help when needed
• Ability to collaborate with internal and external cross-functional groups
• Ability to effectively navigate a global team within a large enterprise
• Strong time management skills
• High attention to detail

Education and Experience Requirement:

• 5+ years of professional experience writing copy for various digital platforms, ideally in B2B environment
• Ability to effectively navigate and leverage a large and complex organizational structure to maximize efficiency
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office including collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams and SharePoint
• Strong working knowledge of digital copy and content creation, management and publishing tools (Sprinklr or similar social publishing and measurement platforms, CMS platforms such as Contentful, WordPress, News publication tools such as Cision/PR Newswire), newsletter tools
• Graphic design tool knowledge (Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva) is highly desirable but not required
• Professional writing sample required

The hourly range for this position is $38.99 to $70.19 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
