Job Description

: As a Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of our warehouse and driver crew. You will lead a team to achieve operational goals, maintain high performance standards, and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management:
    • Lead and manage warehouse and driver teams, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
    • Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork and collaboration.
    • Develop and implement operational procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Employee Management:
    • Hire, train, and develop employees to build a skilled and motivated team.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
    • Handle employee terminations when necessary, following company policies and procedures.
  • Operational Oversight:
    • Oversee day-to-day warehouse and logistics operations.
    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
    • Monitor and manage operational metrics, making data-driven decisions to improve performance.
  • Compliance and Documentation:
    • Ensure all operational activities comply with DOT regulations and company policies.
    • Obtain and maintain a DOT medical card.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
    • Stay updated with industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure operational excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a management role, preferably in warehouse or logistics operations.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Prior experience in hiring, training, and managing employees.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT medical card.
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year of management experience in warehouse or logistics operations.
  • Military and armed forces are encouraged to apply!
