Job Title: IT Disaster Recovery (DR) Analyst
Location: White Plains, NY (White Plains Office)
Duration: 12 months

Job Description:

As an IT DR Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the development, implementation, and maintenance of a comprehensive Business Resiliency & Recovery Program , ensuring the organization is prepared to respond to technology interruptions effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
Disaster Recovery Planning & Management

  • Coordinate with technical units and application owners to maintain and update disaster recovery procedures and configurations.
  • Influence lifecycle roadmaps to ensure resilient processes, technologies, and people strategies.
  • Assist in communicating updates to resiliency strategies and service capability improvements to relevant leaders and functions.

Incident Response & Testing

  • Support disaster recovery efforts, engaging appropriate resources to ensure incidents are resolved within SLAs or RTOs.
  • Plan, schedule, execute, and review disaster recovery testing, ensuring alignment with policies.
  • Develop and manage project plans and test scenarios in collaboration with IT and business teams.

Program Development & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Stay updated on IT resiliency trends and DR professional practices to refine the DR plan.
  • Establish effective communication channels for major incident reporting, ensuring stakeholders receive timely updates.
  • Work with internal teams, external vendors, and business units to implement robust business continuity and disaster recovery strategies.

Skills and Expertise Required:

  • Demonstrated knowledge across IT services, including:
    • Network, data center, system administration, database administration, applications, middleware, cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, or Google), cybersecurity, and crisis management.
  • Expertise in business resiliency and recovery procedures , including BCP, BIA, TIA, and DR plans.
  • Program/project management experience with the ability to align multiple tasks into cohesive milestones and deliverables.
  • Exceptional relationship-building, influencing, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex technical strategies to diverse audiences.

Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical or business discipline.

Experience:

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in crisis management, disaster recovery, and/or business continuity in a technology-driven setting.
  • Familiarity with RSA Archer is a plus.
  • Industry certifications in IT Resiliency and Disaster Recovery are highly preferred.
