Adelphi is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support the delivery of quality healthcare at a facility in Kaufman County, Texas. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of simple laboratory procedures under the supervision of an ASCP-registered medical technologist.

Requirements:
• Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent
• One-year of full-time phlebotomy work preferred but not required
• Possess valid Texas driver’s license
• Must comply with facility and agency immunization requirements
• Must submit to facility and agency required drug test and required fingerprinting
• Must complete facility and agency required training
Responsibilities:
• Perform phlebotomy on patients of all ages.
• Perform computer data entry.
• Process and package specimens for transport to reference lab.
• Comply with facility procedures to meet accrediting standards, including Joint Commission, CMS, TSH policies, and relevant agency Standards, Rules and Directives.
