O'Brien and Company is searching for a Laborer for our Coast division. As Laborer you would be responsible for demolition, cleaning, organizing, and repairing structures. Job responsibilities include equipment inventory control, quality control, and safety compliance. Responsible for miscellaneous job site needs as well. This is an entry level position and no prior experience is required.

• Perform any and all labor duties as required by the jobsite Supervisor, including labor needs and carpenter needs.
• Shall, at all times, demonstrate presentable, professional and cooperative behavior with clients, colleagues, supervisors and general public.
• Practice consistent inventory control of all materials, equipment usage and time to specific projects.
• Participate in company training classes, as required.
• Perform all other duties as directed by the management and assist the overall team effort.
• Work through all weathers and seasons until the construction is done.
• Assist with jobsite security, including fire protection, jobsite housekeeping and jobsite traffic control.
• Perform any and all labor duties as required by the jobsite Supervisor, including labor needs and carpenter needs.
Success in this Role:
• Commitment to company safety culture
• Construction experience preferred but not a requirement
• Demonstrate stamina, strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Ability to lift 100 lbs and carry 50 feet
• Report to work as expected and follow directions
• Performs duties such as demolition, digging, loading, organizing
• Performs inventory controls of materials, fencing/signage, equipment, and tools
• Valid driver's license and insurance compliance (preferred)
• Must be 18 years or older for this role
