We are currently searching for Lead Abatement Project Inspectors for projects throughout the five boroughs.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee lead abatement/disturbance projects
  • Inaction with clients and contractors to determine daily work activities
  • Preparation of daily written logs summarizing work activities and observations
  • Review of waste storage areas and tracking of waste generated during the project
  • Transmittal of daily logs to project managers

Qualifications

  • Current C-3/C-5 Certification from Association for Materials Protection and Performance (AMPP) formerly known as The Society for Protective Coatings (SSPC)
  • 2+ years experience performing lead abatement/disturbance monitoring for MTA NYCT related projects
  • Valid MTA NYCT Track Safety Training Card
  • Ability to work nights and/or weekends based on project schedules
  • Experience performing air monitoring on abrasive blasting projects a big+
  • Valid NYS Driver’s License and vehicle a plus
  • Additional asbestos, lead, mold and OSHA Certifications a big+
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach working with clients and construction contractors/subcontractor
  • Ability to prepare reports on all findings.
