We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Loan Officer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating, authorizing, and recommending approval of loan applications for individuals and businesses. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a solid understanding of loan processing and financial regulations. Duties Assess and analyze loan applications to determine creditworthiness. Process loans efficiently while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Negotiate loan terms with clients, ensuring clarity and understanding of contracts. Utilize accounting software to manage financial data accurately. Maintain detailed records of all transactions and communications with clients. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly. Collaborate with other financial professionals to facilitate smooth loan transactions. Stay updated on industry trends, FNMA guidelines, and changes in lending regulations. Requirements Proven experience in loan processing or a related field is preferred. Meets licencing requirements of loan originator Strong mathematical skills with the ability to perform basic math calculations accurately. Excellent sales skills to effectively promote loan products to potential clients. Familiarity with accounting software and financial documentation processes. Proficient in 10 key typing for efficient data entry and record management. Ability to negotiate effectively while maintaining a professional demeanor. Knowledge of FNMA guidelines is a plus but not mandatory. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
