Job Description

Are you enthusiastic about creating a safe and welcoming environment for others? Do you enjoy providing excellent customer service? Join the YMCA team as a Parking Lot Attendant at our Downtown Branch ! As a highly skilled member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and order of our parking area. You will have the opportunity to interact with members, assist guests with parking, and enforce regulations to maintain a secure facility.

RESPONSIBLITIES:

  • Perform customer service duties by greeting members and assisting guests with parking
  • Assist with parking validation and distribution of parking passes
  • Monitor parking areas to prevent criminal activity
  • Maintain cleanliness in parking areas
  • Follow YMCA policies and procedures
  • Participate in staff meetings and other required activities
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
  • Previous parking lot experience preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Ability to perform all physical aspects of the position, including walking, standing, bending, reaching, and lifting in various weather conditions
