WHAT YOU’LL DO
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Program Manager will be responsible for the local implementation and delivery of the National Kidney Foundation’s (NKF) signature programs to patients, the public, and professionals throughout the designated region. These programs include, but are not limited to, KEEP Healthy (community screening program), Big Ask: Big Give (kidney transplant education program), patient education symposiums, Your Kidneys and You (kidney health promotion program), advocacy, and professional education activities, including NKF’s Primary Care Initiative.
The Program Manager is also responsible for managing local expansion strategies, such as the cultivation of community and corporate partnerships, and assisting in securing funds for programs.
The Program Manager will work closely with the Executive Director to evaluate program performance and ensure activities are aligned with the NKF’s national strategic plan and local initiatives to address barriers to health equity in kidney disease.

WORKING CONDITIONS, EQUIPMENT USED AND SPECIAL INFORMATION
Must have unimpeachable integrity and trustworthiness and possess a high degree of tact, discretion, and professionalism. Verbal and written communication skills will be used daily. Maintains effectiveness under pressure. Uses a multiple line telephone, personal computer, fax machine, photocopier, and other standard office equipment. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. This position is based in Atlanta and requires weekend/evening work and business trips annually. Business travel throughout the region is required. Must have a valid driver’s license.
