Do you have Purchasing/Procurement experience OR a recent degree in Purchasing, Finance/Accounting OR experience in Finance or Accounting ?

Our client is looking for a temporary Purchasing Assistant to join their team while covering for a maternity leave.

They are located in the Green Bay area and has a great reputation for being a leading manufacturer. They are a great company to get on your resume!

Responsibilities:

You will be performing procurement duties for the purchasing department.

• General administration tasks including expediting shipments and communicating with suppliers
• Manage procurement and supply chain tasks
• Coordinate and monitor the purchase of consumable and maintenance related items
• Communicate with vendors and internal/external customers as well as handling service relationships
• Prepare Excel files, Word documents and reports
• Maintenance of equipment parts inventory system for naming convention and keeping parts lists current
• Assist maintenance personnel in acquiring data on vendors, parts, etc.
• Assist Accounts Payable with coding and variances
• Track internal and external repair parts, along with monitoring the costs of repairs
• Send purchase orders to suppliers and verify receipt of product

General Information:

Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week, 7:30am-4:00pm, Monday-Friday

Length: Temporary to start in November through March/April 2025

Pay: $22/hour-$27/hour

Requirements:

• Recent BA degree in Finance or Business Administration or related field preferred
• 1+ year experience in the procurement, purchasing, accounting or finance
• Excel knowledge working within existing spreadsheets, Oracle or SAP knowledge is a plus
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Good organizational and time management skills
