As a Sales Generation Representative you will play a critical role on our sales team by proactively identifying and generating potential leads. This role will leverage current prospecting tools, platforms, and techniques to reach out to prospective customers, understand their needs, and qualify them as potential opportunities for the sales team. In addition, you will play a vital role in data management, sales reporting and analytics, process improvement, and revenue growth.

Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. Hybrid work schedule with office located near Innsbrook, Glen Allen, Virginia. Must be able to work from our Richmond office at least one day per week.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:

1) Lead Generation: Conduct research and market analysis to identify potential prospects and targets. Use various channels such as email campaigns, cold calling, social media, and other lead generation techniques to engage with potential customers.

2) Qualify Leads: Communicate with potential leads to understand their needs, pain points, and interest in Century OCM. Determine if they meet the qualifying criteria and show genuine interest in pursuing a sales conversation.

3) Sales Reporting Analytics: Generate and analyze sales reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide insights into sales performance and revenue trends. Collaborate with sales management to interpret data and derive actionable recommendations for improved lead generation and sales performance.

4) Salesforce Utilization: Utilize and keep a comprehensive and updated database of leads through Salesforce, including all relevant contact information, interactions, and status of each lead. Create and generate reporting for lead and sales activity, funnel opportunities and growth.

5) Collaboration with Sales Team: Work closely with the sales team to provide them with qualified leads, ensuring smooth handover and a clear understanding of the lead's requirements. Collaborate on lead nurturing strategies to increase conversion rates.

6) Continuous Prospecting: Regularly monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market changes to identify new lead generation opportunities.

7) Sales Support: Assist the sales team in setting up meetings, creating sales meeting collateral, and providing relevant information to facilitate the sales process.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.

- Proven experience in a lead generation or inside sales role, preferably within the relevant industry or market.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate value propositions clearly and persuasively.

- Strong analytical and data management skills with proficiency in using MS Excel and other data analysis tools.

- Proficiency in using various lead generation tools, Salesforce, and sales automation platforms.

- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple prioritizing tasks effectively.

- Goal-oriented and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- A positive and enthusiastic attitude, as well as will and grit to win.

- High level of adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced sales environment.
