Job Title: SAP Transportation Management (TM) Consultant

Job Type: 6–12 Month Contract

Location: Hybrid – Batavia, IL (60510) with up to 50% domestic travel

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced  SAP Transportation Management (TM) Consultant to join a dynamic team working on SAP implementation, rollout, and support projects. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in S/4 HANA Transportation Management and demonstrate the ability to interact effectively with geographically distributed teams and business users. This role requires a mix of functional knowledge, technical proficiency, and the ability to deliver high-quality results aligned with client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enterprise Solutions Delivery : Collaborate with business users to understand requirements and deliver end-to-end enterprise solutions.
  
• SAP TM Configuration : Configure SAP TM modules, including Transportation Optimizer, master data objects, and pre/post-processing of Optimizer results.
  
• Blueprinting & Deployment :
  
• Conduct requirement gathering, blueprinting, and documentation.
  
• Configure SAP TM solutions and manage master data setup.
  
• Execute unit testing, hypercare support, and post-implementation documentation.
  
• Testing & Quality Assurance :
  
• Prepare functional specifications for developments and monitor execution.
  
• Develop and execute testing scenarios, including unit, development, and integrated tests.
  
• Team Collaboration : Work closely with geographically distributed teams to align deliverables with the global deployment template.
  
• Client Interaction : Engage directly with clients to gather requirements, provide solutions, and ensure satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  
• Global Template Deployment : Support the configuration and rollout of a global SAP template across multiple distribution centers.
  

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience with  S/4 HANA Transportation Management .
  
• Strong knowledge of  Transportation Optimizer , including required master data and result analysis.
  
• Proven ability to independently manage SAP TM configurations and deployments.
  
• Experience with blueprinting, configuration, and hypercare support for SAP TM projects.
  
• Ability to prepare and manage functional specifications, test scripts, and testing activities.
  
• Excellent collaboration skills, working with both onsite and offshore teams.
  
• Flexibility to travel up to 50% domestically to support client requirements.
  
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective client interaction.
  

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working on global SAP TM deployments in a geographically distributed team environment.
  
• Knowledge of logistics and procure-to-pay functional areas within SAP.
  
• Familiarity with SAP TM integration across distribution centers.
