The Senior Director of Marketing & Communications is responsible for developing long-term strategies, ensuring good market positioning of our organization, and overseeing all marketing and communications efforts.

Senior Director of Marketing & Communications Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
• Ability to interpret financial data and prepare budgets and financial grant reports.
• Understanding of local, state, and federal funding sources and the ability to locate potential sources for funding required.
• Understanding of grant funding policies and procedures and applicable local, state, and federal regulations required.
• Experience in creating a common narrative to help articulate the complicated and robust work of an organization to ensure growth in the areas of fundraising, client retention and attraction, and brand awareness is highly desired.
• Proven success in tailoring messages and outputs
• Experience in managing relations with an outside marketing agency to ensure a collaborative and impactful relationship.
• Strong interpersonal skills and project management abilities.
• Ability to oversee strategy execution, track progress, and report to the executive leadership team and board of directors.
• Proven track record in optimizing and improving marketing strategies and their implementation based on progress analysis and feedback.
• Driven to build a robust and effective internal communications plan that assists in organizational culture-building and overall impact.
