Job Description:

As a Senior Financial Analyst - Corporate Finance at Augmentjobs, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing and managing the company's financial activities. You will work closely with senior management to provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations to support corporate financial decision-making and improve overall financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Analysis:

    • Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including profitability analysis, financial modeling, and forecasting.

    • Analyze financial statements, cash flow, and balance sheets to identify trends, variances, and potential areas for improvement.

  2. Budgeting and Forecasting:

    • Develop and manage detailed financial budgets and forecasts in collaboration with various departments.

    • Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, providing variance analysis and recommendations for corrective actions.

  3. Reporting:

    • Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.

    • Develop and maintain financial dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and support strategic decision-making.

  4. Strategic Planning:

    • Assist in the development and execution of strategic financial plans, including mergers and acquisitions, capital investments, and cost reduction initiatives.

    • Evaluate financial implications of strategic business initiatives and provide recommendations based on analysis.

  5. Financial Modeling:

    • Create and maintain complex financial models to support business planning, valuation, and investment analysis.

    • Conduct scenario analysis and stress testing to assess financial risks and opportunities.

  6. Process Improvement:

    • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting accuracy and efficiency.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and systems.

  7. Compliance and Governance:

    • Ensure adherence to financial regulations, company policies, and accounting standards.

    • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and insights.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is preferred.

  • Experience: 6 to 9 years of experience in corporate finance, financial analysis, or a related field.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis. Advanced skills in Excel and financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion) are required.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly to senior management and stakeholders.

  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial analysis and reporting.

  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

  • Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong working relationships.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Financial Systems: Knowledge of financial systems and ERP platforms.
