Service Delivery Driver/Valet - Planet Ford Dallas

We are currently seeking a dedicated and professional Service Delivery Driver/Valet to join our team. The Service Delivery Driver/Valet will be responsible for delivering vehicles to customers, transporting vehicles to and from service centers, and ensuring they are clean and well-maintained. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and attention to detail.

Job Responsibilities

• Transport vehicles between the dealership, customer locations, and service centers
• Ensure all vehicles are clean, fueled, and in good condition before delivery
• Safely load, unload, and deliver vehicles in a timely manner
• Maintain a clean and orderly service area and parking lot
• Assist customers by parking, retrieving, and moving vehicles as needed
• Perform basic vehicle checks (e.g., tire pressure, fuel levels, etc.)
• Keep accurate logs of vehicle delivery and pickup activities
• Support the service team by moving vehicles to designated areas
• Provide courteous and professional service to customers at all times

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings

Education and/or Experience

• High School Diploma or GED; or one to two years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk. The employee frequently uses hands to handle or feel; reaches with hands and arms; and talks or hears. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
