Calling all Social Media Superstars! 

We are seeking an energetic and snappy Social Media Manager to join our entrepreneurial and mission driven team. In this role, you will work closely with our Community Officer to learn the ins and outs of our current social media strategy. As you get the hang of things, we'll count on you to expand our reach. 

You'd be a great fit if you: 

  • Have a record of successfully moderating and maintaining social media communities and developing and executing multi channel social media strategies
  • Have a high level of emotional intelligence and are able to manage diverse personalities (including passionate keyboard rockstars)

Responsibilities 

  • Manage our social media calendar and work collaboratively across departments to ensure the successful completion of our content creation 
  • Work with Community Officer to learn the brand voice and overall culture of the brand
  • Ensure our brand voice is communicated consistently throughout our social strategy. 
  • Plan and successfully execute a social strategy cross collaboratively with multiple departments 
  • Maintain our social impact and communication on FB, IG, Pinterest,LinkedIn.
  • Expand our social outreach by researching and identifying other social media platforms 
  • Increase engagement and showcase the wins and challenges by tracking and presenting relevant metrics (comments, likes, shares) 

Qualifications

  • Marketing/Business degree preferred not required, prioritize real world experience 
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in Social Media Management 
  • Proficient or Expert in the using Meta Business Manager
  • Comfortable working with all social media platforms and able to find new brand aligned platforms
