Elite Sourcing LLC is currently working with a reputable tax accounting firm that is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Tax Associate/Bookkeeper to join their team. This position offers a great opportunity to work with a diverse client base and gain valuable experience in both tax and bookkeeping services.

As a Tax Associate/Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for assisting with tax preparation, maintaining financial records, and supporting various accounting tasks. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong attention to detail, and possesses excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with tax planning and preparation of individual and business tax returns
• Maintain accurate financial records for clients
• Perform reconciliations of bank statements and accounts
• Prepare and process payroll for clients
• Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting
• Provide support to clients on various accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in tax or bookkeeping
• Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
