Job Summary:

The Office Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily administrative operations at a food distribution center, ensuring efficient workflows, accurate record-keeping, and excellent support for both internal teams and external clients. This role involves supervising office staff, managing office processes, and maintaining compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of office staff, including scheduling, performance reviews, and training.
  • Oversee administrative tasks such as data entry, inventory reporting, and document management to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to streamline communication and operational efficiency.
  • Manage office supply inventory and ensure all administrative tools and systems are operational.
  • Develop and implement procedures to enhance productivity and accuracy in administrative tasks.
  • Serve as a point of contact for clients, vendors, and stakeholders, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with company policies, food safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Generate regular reports on administrative performance and operational efficiency for senior management.
  • Assist with onboarding new employees, including completing required documentation and training.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an office administration or supervisory role, preferably in a food distribution or warehouse setting.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with inventory management systems.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and distribution processes is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment:

This position operates in a dynamic office environment within a food distribution center. The role may involve occasional interaction in warehouse areas, requiring adherence to safety protocols.
