Under the general direction of the Litigation Coordinator, the Office Technician (OT) provides clerical support in the Litigations Office. This position requires the ability to work independently, managing time and meeting deadlines with minimal supervision. The OT assigned to this position must be able to perform a variety of the most difficult duties and is expected to consistently demonstrate a high degree of initiative and exceptional communication skills in performing assigned tasks. It is necessary to maintain confidentiality in dealing with sensitive and detailed information provided to this office, in order to maintain the integrity of the Litigations Office.

Candidates new to CDCR or the Division of Juvenile Justice are required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan Fingerprinting, and Tuberculosis testing prior to appointment followed by department annual Tuberculosis testing/evaluation thereafter.
