Job Description

Massage Heights located at the Ironworks (2721 E 86th St #160, Indianapolis, IN 46240) is seeking a health & wellness advocate to lead our spa team!

The Spa Manager position is directly responsible and accountable for all aspects of their assigned Retreat
operations. This position coaches and manages all team members within their Retreat.
This position is one of a hands on direct supervisor/manager, involved in all aspects of Retreat operations.
The person filling this role will be encouraging, positive and focused on building the best Retreat in the
Indianapolis market.

Responsibilities
  • Directly supervise and be accountable for all aspects of Retreat operations.
  • Create an environment that is passionate about providing guest service and achieving results.
  • Manage the team members of the Retreat.
  • Responsible for documenting guest complaints, incident reports and following up with the Owner and
    guest, as appropriate.
  • Responsible that LC to MT/ST guest hand-offs are being done properly and professionally both when
    the guest is going back to receive service and when coming out after service.
  • Meet and exceed the sales goals and other Retreat metrics set by the Owner.
  • Create a positive team environment and culture within the Retreat.
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean Retreat, meeting all standards set forth in the Guest Experience Survey
  • Responsible for all inventory and ordering processes within the Retreat.
  • Responsible for bi-weekly payroll process within the Retreat.
  • Create a process to review invoices daily or at a minimum once per week.
  • Create a process to review time / clock-in records daily or at a minimum once per week
  • Responsible for Cash Management
  • Responsible to ensure that all daily tasks are accomplished every day.
  • Weekly communication / announcements to team members in Retreat.
  • Coordinate communications with other Retreats for market wide changes.
  • Roll-out and training on seasonal / limited time promotions within the Retreat.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of sales or retail management experience with P&L experience
  • Experience managing hourly wage employees
  • Highly motivated team-player
  • Must be Guest-driven
  • Commitment to standards/image of the Massage Heights brand
  • Strong leadership, organization, communication and interpersonal skills
  • People oriented with strong customer service and public relations skills
  • Demonstrated they have the ability to operate a business successfully
  • Proven track record in achieving sales goals
  • Must have decision making authority
  • Industry experience and knowledge preferred
  • Available to work varied hours/weekends including evenings
  • Experience in training, coaching, and conflict resolution a plus
Annual starting salary of $55,000-$65,000 based on experience. Opportunities for merit increases throughout the year based on performance.
